Xtra Miles Limited Repair Warranty

This Limited Repair Warranty is provided by Xtra Miles, LLC, 644 Painter St, Media, PA 19063.

Coverage applies only to a qualifying repair identified as covered on the repair order or final invoice. That document controls whether coverage applies to parts supplied by Xtra Miles, labor performed by Xtra Miles, or both. Not every service or component receives the same coverage.

The repair documentation also states who receives coverage and whether it follows the vehicle or may transfer to a later owner. No transferability is promised unless it is stated in that documentation.

The applicable time and mileage limits begin on the date and at the mileage shown on the final repair invoice. Because those limits can vary by repair, this website does not state a universal duration or mileage limit.

If a covered repair fails during its stated coverage period because of a defect in a covered part or covered workmanship, Xtra Miles will inspect the vehicle and provide the remedy stated in the repair documentation and required by applicable law.

Xtra Miles will promptly correct, without charge, repair or maintenance work it performed that was not completed in a skilled and workmanlike manner when the customer promptly brings the issue to the shop's attention, as required by applicable Pennsylvania law.

• Arrange for Xtra Miles to inspect and diagnose the reported failure.
• After inspection, Xtra Miles will explain whether the claim is covered and the remedy that applies.

Stop operating the vehicle if continued driving would be unsafe or would cause additional damage. Contact us promptly; an unreasonable delay can make the cause of a failure harder to determine.

Unless the repair documentation states otherwise, coverage is limited to the covered repair and does not extend to a failure that was not caused by that repair. Depending on the repair-specific terms, exclusions may include normal wear unrelated to the covered repair, collision or external damage, misuse, racing, unauthorized modifications, failure of an unrelated component, or missed maintenance that caused the reported damage.

Service by another repair provider does not automatically void all coverage. Coverage may be denied to the extent a failure or additional damage was actually caused by another provider's work or by an incompatible component, subject to applicable law.

Whether Xtra Miles accepts a customer-supplied part is decided before the work is authorized. If one is accepted, the repair documentation will separately state whether any coverage applies to the supplied part and whether any coverage applies to installation workmanship. Xtra Miles does not provide a manufacturer's warranty on a part supplied by the customer.

A part may carry a separate manufacturer or supplier warranty. Any such warranty is provided under that company's terms and does not automatically extend Xtra Miles' labor coverage.

Unless the repair documentation expressly says otherwise, this Limited Repair Warranty does not promise reimbursement for towing, rental vehicles, lost wages, loss of use, or other incidental or consequential costs. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This Limited Repair Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights under applicable state or federal law. Nothing in this Limited Repair Warranty limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived. It does not disclaim implied warranties where the law does not allow them to be disclaimed.
